#Hack – How To Drain Coconut Water
What comes to mind when you think about a coconut? Tropical island breeze? Picturesque beach view? Holiday? Coconut rice with fried chicken and plantain or the guy down the street that sells coconut?
For some reason, we have subconsciously associated this fruit with pleasure, the good life and a healthy lifestyle. Coconut water in recent years has become a trendy beverage. This is because it’s loaded with several nutrients and minerals. In addition, it is hydrating and naturally sweet.
According to research, Coconut water contains very little fat and 94% water. Also, it contains calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium.
It can be heartbreaking losing most of the water trying to break open a coconut. Most of the time, it can also be extremely messy. Things don’t have to be this way.
Here’s a hack to get all the coconut water out without there being any waste. A coconut has three eyes on the surface. All you need to do is pierce the holes with a clean screwdriver and drain out the water. Ta-dah!
Enjoy!
