#Hack – How To Revive Flat Champagne
Love is in the air—put on a face mask.
Raise your hand if you feel like February is overrated but worth the hype. It’s a weird mix of emotions—excited and anxious at the same time. Thoughts race through your mind about Valentines and what you’re going to get from “Le Boo”. Wondering if you’ll perhaps get surprised by a secret admirer. Or maybe you’re looking forward to eating friends treats, knowing that’s as good as it gets.
Thankfully, Valentines 2023 is over. We no longer have to listen to nor be haunted by the theme song “Valentines is coming, where is your boyfriend?”. Thank goodness.
Amongst the many gifts given out on Valentines, a bottle of champagne is KING! Nothing says I love you like champagne. Crisp, bubbly, expensive and a taste of the starts. From the pop and mild hiss when opened, to the soft crackling of the golden blonde rush being poured in a flute, to the velvety mouthful of acidulous bubbly excitement. What’s not to love.
The sad part about champagne is, it goes flat quickly. It’s heartbreaking throwing it away. Literally money down the drain. Thankfully this no longer has to be the case. Darrrllling, all that can be fixed. Here’s the life hack you didn’t know you needed.
There’s one simple ingredient to revive flat champagne.
All you need to do is place a raisin in the bottle. According to science, carbon dioxide left in the bottle will attach to the grooves in the raisin and release back into champagne, making it bubbling again. Vola!
Life saving.
Enjoy!
