It’s like a painting in the sky that takes your breath away. In a way, it gives you this feeling of hope and peace. God is indeed an artist.

Imagine capturing all that emotion and beauty in a drink. Sounds good hey? I thought so. We’re talking about none other than a Tequila Sunrise. This three-part cocktail is more than a beauty; it’s a darn good drink!

Refreshingly sweet fruity cocktail, that can be made at moment’s notice. The three simple somewhat everyday ingredients can be easily found in your kitchen. This makes it even more appealing. You don’t need any special skills other than to mix and pour. Here’s how to make it.

 

Ingredients

120ml Orange Juice

60ml Tequila

15ml Grenadine

That’s all, but you can add the below for that extra oomph

6-8 ice cubes

1 Cherry or Orange slice to garnish

Let’s Mix

Step 1

In a high ball glass (tall glass) with ice, pour the tequila and orange juice. Stir well for about 30 seconds.

Step 2

Pour the grenadine slowly at the inside edge of the glass. The beautiful red liquid will sink to the bottom of the glass and gradually rise to mix with other ingredients.

Step 3

Garnish with a cherry and an orange slice.
