When was the last time you had Kilishi? Juicy and delicious wafer-thin dried goat or cow meat. Seasoned with Suya spice and a generous amount of pepper. Slightly Crispy yet chewy, smoked to perfection and irresistible.

They say kilishi is Nigeria’s version of beef jerky. I’m yet to try beef jerky so I can’t really say if it’s true. One thing for sure is, kilishi tastes like dried Suya. Although it’s most likely available at the Supermarket near you, I prefer to get mine fresh from Abuja. The one here in Lagos doesn’t taste the same. Be careful where you get it from though.
